Abergele Place Plan Survey

Abergele Place Plan is planning to install temporary pedestrian signs over the next few weeks. The temporary signs will help us plan for more permanent signs in the future. Before the signs appear, we’d be grateful if you spend a few minutes of your time by completing this short survey on how you use Abergele town, its Parks and Pensarn area. - Click here


Abergele Train Disaster
The Abergele Train Disaster 1868, was, at the time, the worst railway disaster yet in Britain, and also the most alarming.

WW1 List of Fallen

Cyngor Tref Abergele Town Council

For the Centenary of the end of WW1 next year, Abergele Town Council is considering adding the names to the Cenotaph which have been missing since its installation.

If you have a relative who was from Abergele or who was conscripted from Abergele, who died in battle and their name is missing from the Memorial please contact the Town Hall as soon as possible in order that the name can be verified against War Office Records and included in the list.
